Myron at the beach

We took Myron to the beach. It was technically not the first time, but it was the first time he was aware of it. That said, he is probably too young to remember it.
It was a little harrowing at first. Em was quite nervous about how to handle providing shade and shelter from the sand. She said something about preventing his corneas from getting scratched. We waited until late afternoon, and then we went to Ocean State Job Lot to look for snacks and things to provide this sort of shelter on the beach. It was probably at least 15kph winds. Em wanted to find an easy folding tent type structure, but we ended up with an umbrella that did okay, but not great in the wind.

Once the sun went behind some trees, we all got to enjoy the scene.

I dipped Myron’s feet in the water. He was not sure what to make of it, but he didn’t hate it.

Em got another picture similar to the above, where my hair was in front of Myron’s forehead. Auntie Caitlin cropped it as such:

And then started to set it as her phone wallpaper.

The day after, Myron had three pretty large bug bites on his face but lived to tell the tale (by proxy).
